Enable Windows DreamScene Sound

15 October 2008 2 Comments

By default Windows DreamScene will have audio and sound output turned off and disabled as mute. So even if you set a exciting video clip with surround, there will be no sound play. However, users can always turn on or unmute the DreamScene audio output to hear the sound of the videos.

To enable or unmute the DreamScene, in the notification area (system tray) of Windows Vista desktop, click on the audio icon (speaker) to open the Volume Mixer. Then in the Windows DreamScene section under the Applications. Click on the mute button (crossed speaker) below the volume slide bar (which is grayed out and disabled) to get audio up and running. Increase the volume on slide bar if needed.

Great posting and blog, I know my site is not really related but check it out and give me any contructive feedback you have. If you are interested in putting my site in your blog role I could do the same.
