If somehow you are looking for an app which can replace your traditional Windows search or may be the Google Desktop, you can try Everything, Everything is a damn lightweight and small application (setup file is smaller than 1MB), and is good enough to replace your preexisting search and indexing application.

The name Everything comes from the fact that it shows everything on your computer, unlike Windows search “Everything” initially displays every file and folder on your computer.

Everything locates files (not the file content) and folders on local NTFS volumes. Everything requires administrative privileges for low level read access to volumes.
