XAMMP is acts as host sever on local computer which allow us to install wordpress blog on your computer. All we need is XAMMP, Wordpress , your favorite theme and plugins to manage your blog.

Let’s see how to install Wordpress on your local computer

I will suggest to use XAMMP Lite (small edition of XAMPP)

• Download is XAMMP lite and run exe file and select directory and installed with one click.
• Download Wordpress and extract zip file to new folder “Wordpress” (give any name) and place this wordpress copy in installed XAMMP “htdocs” folder. Default path is C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress.
• Launch XAMMP control panel to start “Apache” and “MySql” services.
• Go to your browser and type http://localhost , you will see the home page of XAMMP where you have to select the language option (for ex. English)
• Go to PhpMyAdmin to create database, give database name like “mydatabase” and select option “utf8_unicaode_ci”, press “create” button to create database
• Under the folder Wordpress rename file “wp-config-sample.php” to “wp-config.php”, open this file in Notepad to write database name like “mydatabse” (database name given by you in PhpMyadmin), databse username is “root” by default and no database password so left it blank (like this “ ”).
• Now go to browser to setup your blog, type http://localhost/wordpress , fill the information like site title, username, password, e-mail id and press install Wordpress to start your website/blog on your local computer.

Now you are ready to test and modify your favorite theme, test plugins and also you can post the articles to check their appearance.

XAMMP is really useful for me to manage my blog and keep my database backup.

Perform following steps to validate Windows Xp as genuine

• TO open registry editor type ‘regedit ‘in Run (in start menu).
• Follow“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents”
• Open OOBETIMER file from right window and delete all possible data from it and close Registry Editor.

• You will see window is already activated, so click ok.

Where it is useful?

Sometime we don’t have device drivers, at that point we need to know device name with version number and other details to find device drivers over the internet. At that point Unknowndevices utility is useful to find device name and it’s details.

For Primary IDE Channels drivers I surfed many forums but didn’t find any right solution to get primary IDE Channel drivers. So I tried many options, after many trial and errors, I found one way to find primary IDE Channel drivers. Let’s see how it works:-

While surfing I downloaded one software (don’t buy) to update drivers. Using which I found the name of devices.

I found IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers (intel r 82801db ultra ata controller) then I searched it in device manager where I found Primay IDE Channel in IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers. So I download drivers for   intel r 82801db ultra ata controller and installed it.

After installing drivers , I tried to install windows 7 and finally it is installed on my machine successfully , without error of load drivers for Pirmary IDE Channel.

How to use UnFREEz

• Drag and Drop the GIF images onto UnFREEz in desire sequence.
• Set the frame delay time i.e 100 centiseconds = 1second.
• Hit Make Animated GIF button to create GIF Animation.

Where it is useful for me

I am using it to create albums, also it might be useful for me to add some GIF animations to my website instead of using many images.
