How to avoid HDD crash
Lot of times it may happen that your hard-disk get crash without knowing how. Here is the one reason I want to share with you so you are able to take precaution of your hard-disk.
Don’t move your computer while working, it may crash your hard-disk Interfering the smooth working of computer may disturb the MBR [Master Boot Record] and that ultimately crashes your hard-disk, resulting into loss of precious data.
Now the question arises, what is MBR [Master Boot Record].
A Master Boot Record (MBR), or generally called as partition sector, is the 512-byte boot sector that is the first sector (“Sector 0″) of a partitioned data storage device such as a hard-disk.
The MBR may be used for one or more of the following:
- Holding a disk’s primary partition table.
- Bootstrapping operating systems, after the computer’s BIOS passes execution to machine code instructions contained within the MBR.
- Uniquely identifying individual disk media, with a 32-bit disk.
So such important data will get affect, it ultimately crash your hard-disk. So don’t move your computer while working
