The name Everything comes from the fact that it shows everything on your computer, unlike Windows search “Everything” initially displays every file and folder on your computer.

Everything locates files (not the file content) and folders on local NTFS volumes. Everything requires administrative privileges for low level read access to volumes.

You can perform searches using the Boolean operators, Wildcards and regex as well, to know more about them visit the Faq page.
